Growing Tips
- Crop Rotation: Planting a different crop than the last harvested on a tile gives a bonus. Chain 10 rotations for the Rotation Master achievement.
- Greenhouse: Protects a 3x3 area from drought & blight, plus +15% growth speed. Place strategically over your most valuable crops.
- Blight: Kills crops in affected tiles. Use Insurance ($75) before it hits to recover losses, or plant cheap wheat in risky spots.
- Drought: Drops soil moisture to near zero. Irrigate with the Sprinkler upgrade (R key) to recover faster.
- Fertilizer ($50): Instantly boosts growth on the tile you're standing on (F key). Best used on slow-growing pumpkins or corn.
